Which Direction Should Your Head Face While Sleeping?

We are in the midst of moving to a new apartment and currently in a dilemma on where the bed should be. I have always thought that our bed (i.e. head direction) should follow one of our auspicious directions based on our Kua number but apparently not! I have been told recently that our bed should instead face east or south. The reason for this is due to the earth's magnetic force. A scientific approach to choosing sleeping direction!

Why Do We Take Things Personally?

Is it human nature? Do people generally take things personally? I have learnt over the years that not taking things personally have proved quite a challenge. Why do we have to get sensitive or bother so much about what's happening around us? Do we have to absorb everything like a sponge?

I believe one of the key to happiness and inner peace is to not take things personally. Let it be! Just say, "it's not me! it's not my issue!" and then move on. With a little practice, we are able to observe people and conditions with objectivity and detachment. Most importantly, we have to stop viewing everything from an emotional point of view!
